Shasta Speech and Language Pathology Inc. specializes in voice, swallowing, and neurogenic disorders.
We are also contracted to conduct videofluoroscopic swallow studies at Shasta Regional Medical Center.

Our Therapy Services:
Therapy services are offered for adults with difficulties with dysphagia (swallowing), voice (dysphonia/hypophonia), speech (dysarthria, apraxia of speech), and language (aphasia). Services may also be offered for children and teens with voice disorders.
SPEAK OUT!® Therapy
Our clinicians are certified SPEAK OUT! providers, and provide this voice therapy service to individuals with Parkinson's disease. Patients who go through SPEAK OUT! therapy can be connected with the local Parkinson's support group, which offers SPEAK OUT! Therapy Groups.
Videofluoroscopic Swallow Study
A diagnostic tool utilized to record pathophysiology that leads to atypical levels of penetration and aspiration.
Voice Therapy
Various techniques are utilized to target breathing and forward resonance to improve vocal quality and/or intensity. Specific exercises vary based upon etiology of voice disorder (e.g., nodules, polyps, presbyphonia, vocal tremor, vocal cord dysfunction, etc.)
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy is utilized to target voice and swallowing disorders.
E-Stim
Stimulates the neck and facial muscles to improve swallowing.
